Steve trained as an Underwriter with the Eagle Star before moving to Syndicate 386 where he specialised as a Liability Underwriter. He became the Managing Director of the Syndicate’s Agency division and led the growth of this operation on a national basis. The Syndicate was eventually purchased by QBE and Steve became a Regional Director with a UK remit for the branch operations.

Steve retired after a very successful career in 2008 but after a short period of leisure he was persuaded by Owen to join Delta in a Non-Executive role. Steve’s experience as an Underwriter and as an Insurer added an extra dimension to Delta’s offering as well as providing us with wise counsel at Board level.
